How are you all ? It's been a while, but I hope you all have had an amazing holiday season so far! 

My birthday is coming up + I am planning my party meal menu! I thought I'd share my #1 dish for holiday parties + entertaining. 

FYI, my favourite party dish is CHARCUTERIE!

And apparently for good reason :) According to Restaurants Canada's annual chef survey the charcuterie trend has moved up to #2 from #5 this year! If you've tried this trend then you know what I'm talking about.

What I love about this dish is that there are so many ways to customize it. It's gluten-free friendly, which is so important for me because one of my best friends' is celiac so being able to feed her is amazing! I also like to add a nice selection of cheese (like a nice merlot aged cheddar) + breads (focaccia or french baguette) :) 

 For me, I always make sure I have a proscuitto - obviously San Danielle is my go-to. I love the fact that there are no nitrates added, which is very important for me since my skin is super sensitive + my eczema tends to flare up after eating nitrates and sulfites. I also like a salami for different texture - plus I love the peppercorn that the Mastro Genoa Salami has.
