Hi.

Welcome to Jess Undecided - a platform I've created to share all my loves + passions.

Jess Undecided originates from a whole lot of soul-searching the last couple years to find what I'm truly about, but what I've found is that you don't have to decide on just one thing to define who you are - you can be undecided

Best Cardigans of 2021

Best Cardigans of 2021

Hi!

So I thought I’d make a blog post of all the cardigans I’m liking so far this season. I ordered the ones I thought I would like the most, but wanted to share the larger list here. They consist of ones I personally like, ones that you wanted me to try or ones that you have been loving yourself!

There are some I didn’t include here for the following reasons:

Oak + Fort cardigans in general - didn’t love the material composition for price point - if you watched my sweater video (linked here) then I am particular with what materials my sweaters are made of because I’m pretty sensitive to itch + I also want my sweaters to last so I try to get ones with minimal artificial materials unless the price is really good.

KOTN cropped cardigan - Sold out! Would have loved to try though so if they come back in stock i’ll give them a try!

Jenni Kayne cardigan - A bit too pricey for me for an average looking cardigan especially in Canada since they don’t allow you to pre-pay the duties. I didn’t want to be surprised by an even bigger bill. If you want to spend more money on some luxury cardigans my faves are Lauren Manoogian, Cordera, Toteme, The Row, Raey … just to name a few :p.

I’ll link the YouTube video here when it’s live too :)

xx

Aritzia Pasco Cardigan

100% Cashmere. Relaxed Fit. I ordered a size M. I will talk more about it in the video.

Aritzia Canberra Cardigan

100% Merino Wool. Classic - Cropped fit. Didn’t order, but a classic option for work to night.

Aritzia Lacer Cardigan

100% Merino Wool. Didn’t order because it’s not my style enough to justify the over $200 price tag. BUT, I think it is super duper cute and would be really great for someone who wants something a bit more feminine. would look so cute with a mini skirt + tights + loafers!

Aritzia Nasim Cardigan

100% Merino Wool. Didn’t order because it is backordered until Dec 16 :(. I would have though if it would have arrived in time for my video!

Aritzia Unwind Cardigan

100% Merino Wool. Didn’t Order because I have a similar one from H&M that I don’t wear enough to justify getting a more expensive one. Wanted to add it though because it is such a classic style that I think a lot of you will like. Plus, it can be super versatile - dressed up for work, but also like a cosy robe at home.

Everlane Cropped Cashmere Cardigan

100% Cashmere. Ordered - will review in video. Super classic shape that I think is a great starting point if you don’t have any cardigans in your wardrobe yet.

Everlane Felted Merino Double-Breasted Cardigan

100% Wool. Name says merino, but description just says wool… will confirm when it arrives. I think it’s a really cute cardi that’s a bit more special with the double breast.

Everlane Lofty-Knit Cardigan

39% Merino Wool, 39% Alpaca, 22% Recycled Nylon. I have this one and think it’s super cute. Very breathable, so the alpaca doesn’t itch me as much - reviewed here.

Everlane Texture Cotton Cardigan

73% Cotton, 27% Nylon. I have an older version in black that I love! They texture/knit pattern makes it look very luxe.

&other Stories Relaxed Asymmetrical Knit Cardigan

Wool 60%, Polyamide 27%, Yak hair 10%, Elastane 3%. Was very tempted to order but because I’m in Canada, I’d be charged duties + it doesn’t tell me what it is before. Plus, it doesn’t specify what kind of wool it is so it might be too itchy for me. I wanted to add it though because it’s such a unique piece! I think it would be great for anyone who isn’t worried about itchiness.

H&M Boxy Cardigan

Polyester 64%, Acrylic 30%, Wool 6%. H&M is one of the few places I’ll order sweaters that have mostly artificial fibres because the price is good and they have some cute styles. This one is a great grandpa style cardigan, similar shape to the Aritzia Lacer.

H&M Fine-Knit Cardigan

Polyester 60%, Polyamide 35%, Wool 5%. I love this cool grey colour + a fine knit cardigan can be worn year round so for the price point, this is be a great option.

H&M Rib Knit Cardigan

Polyester 52%, Acrylic 41%, Wool 4%, Elastane 3%. I love this marled grey look + the texture from the ribbing. Since it doesn’t have pockets it can look cute tucked in or out.

H&M Thick Rib-Knit Cardigan

Cotton 60%, Acrylic 40%. Similar to Everlane Texture Cotton Cardigan above, but at fraction of the price. Less cotton content and looks a bit longer. Might order to try.

Joe Fresh Cable Knit Cardigan

100% Acrylic. Ordered to test quality. Very similar to Aritzia Cable Knit Cardigan (mostly Merino wool), or the Aritzia Cheshire Cardigan but this one is a fraction of the price … because it’s acrylic.

Sezane Achille Jumper

40% Polyamide, 32% Kid mohair, 28% Merino Wool. Ordered because I love the texture look, but am a bit worried that it might be too itchy! Will confirm in video.

Sezane Mia Jumper

34% Kid mohair, 34% Wool, 27% Polyamide, 5% Elastane. Also ordered because I love the small ruffle detail in the sleeve, but also concerned about itchiness factor! Will confirm in video.
