Hi cuties!

I know there are a lot of you that are new to this space since the Jess Undecided family has grown so much in the last couple months!! (yay!) So I thought it was time to introduce (or reintroduce) you to one of my less talked about loves, nutrition.

Before starting Jess Undecided, I was in school for Nutrition and Food, with all the intentions to become a Dietitian. Even though I eventually decided not to go that route, nutrition still plays a huge part of my life.

I had a pretty healthy relationship with food throughout my life. I started to become even more involved in understanding my personal nutrition journey when I went to university. Playing varsity tennis for 4 years resulted in my first attempt at organizing a meal plan for myself. I quickly realized how much a healthy and complete diet could impact not only my athletic abilities, but also my everyday life too. I felt more awake, had more energy to study, and I could feel my body responding to workouts more effectively. So when I was deciding what step to take in my life after finishing Biology/Physiology degree, going into Nutrition and Food felt pretty natural.

Although I no longer practice as a nutritionist, my background in nutrition has taught me the importance of well-balanced nutrition profile in your everyday diet! However, I don’t know about you, but even though I am well aware of the importance of a balanced diet, I STILL feel like I may not be getting all the nutrients I need. After starting my own business and when the hustle got really real, my healthy routine was impacted. 

I have tried to take specific supplements before, tried many different remedies, but in the end I often just stopped remembering to take them or making the excuse that I didn’t have time to take all these different things every day.
