So if you've been following me on Instagram then you know that I've had a hard time saying goodbye to Halifax this past week. I finally made my way home (what a long drive!) on Saturday morning and it was one of the hardest things I've had to do in a while.
I don't know about you, but I hate goodbyes! I know people say that "when one door closes, another one opens", but I don't like closing doors!!
Saying goodbye to all the amazing people I've met in Halifax was definitely the hardest part. You all know who you are - so if you are reading this, thank you so much for all that you have taught me and thanks for making my time there such a great experience. It was a pleasure getting to know all of you, and I hope we stay in touch!
This shoot though… my amazing friend Jeehov (Instagram @jeehovsavant) shot this days before I left. We had been trying to coordinate a shoot before I left and I am so happy that we made it happen because look at the result! I love this natural & minimalist vibe that we created - I'm wearing my favourite new maxi (that I'll be styling in so many different ways soon) and my go-to slides. This series of photos taken by the water are perfect for this farewell post to Halifax.
I urge all of you to visit the East Coast when you have the chance - it is definitely an experience you don't want to miss.
