It's that time of year again ! December/Holiday shopping !!
I always struggle with what to wear shopping during this season because it's usually freezing out (not this year…#globalwarmingscaresme) and I want to look:
a) presentable
b)not over heat inside a large winter parka !!
c) be comfortable for the hours of walking ahead
d) AND be able to head to a holiday party or dinner later that night !
So here's one of my solutions - a long statement waistcoat over a lightweight sweater dress, ripped jeans to keep the look casual enough to go shopping , and a minor pointed-toe bootie to transition you into nightwear.
It's not too casual, but not too overdone that all the other shoppers in sweatsuits look at you like you're trying too hard ;p
