PANT SUIT-ING // Pastel Edition

So, if I were to tell you I wore a light blue pant suit to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday yesterday WITHOUT seeing a picture, what would you think?

Who dropped me on the head as a child right?! When I hear powder blue suit I immediately think of those old movies or cheesy comedies with that classic ruffle tuxedo shirt under it!

However, I was extremely torn what to wear to this Afternoon Tea Event at the Royal York Fairmont because I am just not that comfortable in dresses - especially formal dresses. I will always be partial to something more menswear inspired. So when I remembered this matching set I bought last summer (when I only wore the pants itself) I was so happy! I didn't have to wear a dress!

I made it relevant to this Spring/Summer season by adding a necktie as well.
